yeongrak - d'chrone
there must be something to advertising music as though it were beverages (see: QT). the alluring imagery of attractive young people seductively sipping on your product doesn't appear terribly removed from what producers and labelheads want to imagine their biggest fans are like when they consume whatever they make. food for thought. bandcamp label hope sick cola have just released their third "product" in two months, and it's their most substantial yet. the sprawling d'chrone by yeongrak has a reckless abandon for taste and conventional electronic pop, and it's these paradigm shifters that really... shake things up for the blog scene. i just hope there isn't actually cat sperm in it.
