remember lil data? he had a hand in the disown radio mix, one of the flat-out best mixes of 2014. well, now he's got his debut on pc music, and it's a short little mix of his own! very exciting. he is certainly a talented individual, and the "sup" mix shows that, with its giggly electropop and ace sampling chops. it strays more into felicita/gfoty territory with its structure-less affinity for pure sound, making it an engaging as hell 10 minutes.
also well worth checking out is the associated site with the mix. spanning over 100 pages (yes, really!) it's simultaneously the biggest and the vaguest of all pc music's projects. the branching project covers disparate ideas and real-life locations, mimicking the conceptual basis of lil data as both representative of real digital/analog data, and as an artist. it's just as interesting as the mix itself. just don't get lost in the hyperlinks.
