let's start with a doozy: the 6 producer round robin masterpiece of mixes sponsored by dis magazine and pc music only known as "pc music x disown". this hour-long behemoth begins with the chaotic, euphoric, spastic, aural pink nail polish that is a.g. cook, and ends with the disjointed midi-pop of mysterious new guy kane west (whose first release was a hilarious entry to a remix contest called "let's (not) go dancing"). in between these two powder keg minimixes is pc music's resident avant-pop nutjob gfoty, the always talented danny l harle, some random called lil data, and the fresh-faced nu new edition, (who has a great semi-remix release as well for some luckyme promotion). there are originals, edits, remixes, and even a hideously misplaced rick and morty soundclip in there, and it manages to be consistently entertaining. one of, if not THE, best mix of 2014. long live pc music.
