triple threat! yesterday night, the rinse fm podcast had a live broadcast of the newest entry in the series, this time featuring two of my recent favourite producers and one new face: the mastermind behind the maudlin, incandescent "xe2" mssingno, architect of "bff" in all its bubbly glory onika, and so so in luv. the last one especially had people scratching their heads over the identity of this newbie, and dis magazine quelled those thoughts with so so in luv's debut single "1+0nly". a piece of elastic, superficial pop stretched from here to infinity, "1+0nly" has much in common will the similarly plastic "wannabe" by the lipgloss twins, despite having a touch more structure. it's breathtaking to say the least. oh, finn diesel, like usual, is on the podcast too. check out both the mix and so so in luv's debut single.
