the eric wareheim hosted rayban x boilerroom dj night featuring hudson mohawke was nothing short of mind-bending. of course, i'm mostly talking about sophie's set, where he had a transvestite hilariously standing in for him (although i could have sworn i saw him under the stage!) as his personal brand of squeaky post-pop cascaded from the speakers and into the ears of the eager crowd. highlight: everyone singing along to "lemonade". check out the whole thing above for 30 minutes of crowd-pleasing sickly sweet confection perfection.
qt had their debut set as well, but it was just 9 minutes, most of which comprised of an extended intro to "hey qt", featuring lines that sound ripped right out of a commercial for the qt "energy elixir". alas, it was taken down, but eventually it will show up on the boiler room soundcloud.
