fade to mind alum nguzunguzu, fatima al qadiri, and j-cush have been hinting at a collaborative release for some time under the name future brown, and following a good while of little activity coming from their soundcloud, we now have both a bumpin' remix of an older track, and confirmation that a 12" from them is coming on warp. "wanna party" certainly lived up to its namesake, but this remix makes it sound like an actual proposition. the turnt up drums and eerie church bells align the remix with the classic fade to mind dark, bassy sound, but any potential piety said bells could bring is instantly decimated when the unmistakeable twittering of trap hi-hats slink in. "wanna party?" future brown asks. of course, you say yes.
