what a surprise! wholly unexpected to see two of my favourite artists collaborate. kero kero bonito uploaded a remix of their fantastic, mario 64-sampling single "sick beat" by none other than pc music heavyweight danny l harle! we haven't seen much out of danny since, well, his only official release for the label "broken flowers"; danny has done a few rinse mixes and remixes of his tracks since, but this is the first time in a long time that something done by him has officially come out. please danny - we need more. at the very least, the luna remix of his track aquarius needs an official release (like he implied it would).
the bonito recycling ep has a remix from midi-guy kane west too, in addition to mixblog favourite et aliae, the j-pop-esque bo en, and funky bud spazzkid. this is just a star-studded ep, huh? can't wait. bonito recycling comes out september 29th.
