vespertown, the tel aviv producer in constant flux with music to match this identity, is soon to follow up his astounding, colourful kaleidoscope ep with a 2 track single for rinse, leaving one of my favourite labels, donky pitch, behind. while this is a sad farewell to a prestigious and unique label, rinse happens to be king of the dance scene with their daily radio shows and connections to dis magazine, so i will forgive it. the king george single is comprised of two tracks: the eponymous track, and "sugar rush", which has my heart palpitating at the thought of what vespertown will bring with such a title. "king george" is classic vespertown, with micro-drops, transcendent, detailed production, and an undeniable groove.
