while the rest of the world slowly wakes up to the greatness that is bubblegum bass (which is now an official genre on rateyourmusic! yay!), we're getting a slow trickle of non-pc music artists making songs and mixes that fit into the genre conventions nicely. joseph marinetti is a bit player in the scene right now, but the guy has the right stuff to make it much bigger - he has a great grasp on the sound, the style, maybe not the aesthetic, but he can work on that. regardless, his second radio mix for shoop clothing is a half hour of power, filled to the prim with pink, fun, bubbly electronic pop. it's more wonky than house, but it works!
