a new dis magazine mix has risen, and this time it's comprised of completely original material from a producer called babe e. the "happy birthday" mix (whose birthday, i don't know) is a madcap surge of disjointed wonky beats and clipped androgynous vocals. translation: it's amazing, and thoroughly surprising. forget the party hats and pin the tail on the donkey - the party this mix soundtracks is going to be a hell of a lot kinkier and more rambunctious. and while the mix contains no interpolations of the famous song, there's actually quite a few public domain melodies you're sure to recognize snuck into it from time to time. yet again dis magazine has unleashed a brand spankin' new producer with a worthy back catalog of audacious tunes to browse through.
