always happy to see more material come out of manicure records. it's hard to pin down what, exactly, these guys are all about; they have a lot of pc music material in their mixes, but there's also nightcore, hip-hop, and mash-ups, so it's possible what manicure records does is unite under an aesthetic rather than a particular sound. either way, jΛsmine is the shining star of the lineup, and his emojinal mix (the third in a series that showcases pretty awesome talent, including personal favourite airynore) features some kickass refixes and mash-ups. one particularly fun one is the opening track, which is a mash-up of sophie's excellent "hard" with some rapper i've never heard of called sugur shane. fun stuff, and it's sure to keep the summer spirit going well into september.
